Terms and Conditions of booking
A provisional booking can be held for a period not exceeding 14 days. A booking is confirmed when we receive your non refundable deposit of £500. All confirmations are acknowledged within 14 days of receipt.
Approximately 4 weeks prior to your function, you need to attend a consultation with a member of the Events Team to discuss and confirm details of your event. Please telephone 01992 525151 or email events@blakesgolfclub.com to arrange an appointment
Final numbers and full payment must be received at least 3 weeks prior to the event. All prices are inclusive of VAT at the current rate.
A £1000 damage liability deposit is required – This will be refunded in full on the first working day after your event so long as no damage has incurred to the contents, buildings and grounds of Blakes Golf Course.
You are required to cater for a minimum of 80% for buffet style events. Minimum numbers apply to all packages.
If any additional charges are incurred on the day these are to be settled upon departure. We accept Visa, Switch, Mastercard, American Express and cash
Charges apply to the registry office for ceremonies held at Blakes.
In the event of a cancellation it is with regret that no refund of deposits or pre-payments can be made.
In the event of a cancellation taking place, within 4 months of the function, the penalties will apply based on the number of guests estimated on the confirmation.
At 4 months notice, but not less than 3 months – 25% of total estimated hire and food bill
At 3 months notice, but not less than 2 moths – 50% of total estimated hire and food bill
At 2 months notice, or less – 75% of total estimated hire and food bill.
Please note that at weekends, Blakes operates a minimum spend policy on functions, which is to be used against the food content and room hire of the day only.
Due to health and safety regulations the Management cannot accept any responsibility for the supervision of children around the pond or on the golf course.
You will be required to sign a copy of these terms and conditions at the time of booking.
